behind-the-scenes tour of Centre Block on Parliament Hill, which is currently closed and under renovation.
Leading the tour was John-Philippe Smith, one of Algonquin College’s recent Alumni of Distinction Awards recipients, who serves as the Government of Canada’s dominion sculptor. Continue reading
Congratulations to Thanh Ngo, a 2024 graduate from our Animation program who recently won the Student International Character-Based 2D award at the 2024 Los Angeles Animation Festival.
Ngo won with the short film Ma Mao, which can be watched in full below.
The Los Angeles Animation Festival is “the country’s leading international animation festival since 2007” and is “dedicated to helping indie and student filmmakers.”
