As part of Algonquin College’s commitment to expanding the traditional Anishinàbe (ah-nish-in-AHH-bay) Algonquin Nation language on
campus, we are sharing vocabulary, phrases and information to familiarize learners and employees with the traditional language.
The School of Advanced Technology at Algonquin College empowers students (kekināmāwindjig) to bring ideas to life through hands-on learning and industry-driven innovation. With cutting-edge facilities (ombàkonigan) and a strong connection to Ottawa’s tech sector, our graduates thrive in a rapidly changing, global workforce.
Other useful terms:
- mizimizide nanda-gikenindjigan = computer
- sàkàdjitò = to prosper or to succeed
