Kwey – National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 2025
Posted on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025
September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. September 30 is not just a day on the calendar, it’s a call to
remember, to honour and to act.
It’s a day to recognize children who never came home from residential schools. We stand with the survivors who carry those lived experiences. Truth must be acknowledged and reconciliation must be ongoing. Commemorating this day allows our communities, students and educators to pause and reflect together and commit to building a more just and compassionate future.
