2019 Co-op Awards of Excellence Recipients

The Cooperative Education Department is proud to honour its extraordinary 2019 Co-op Awards of Excellence winners!

This year five of our outstanding employer partners were selected for the Outstanding Contribution to Algonquin College Cooperative Education Award and five incredible co-op students were selected for the Cooperative Education Student Achievement Award.

 

Alexandra (Allie) Timotheou, Payments Canada

Recipient of the Cooperative Education Student Achievement Award, Allie completed her co-op as part of the Interactive Media Design (Co-op) program in the Winter 2019 term.

Recipients of the Outstanding Contribution to Algonquin College Co-op Award, Chulaka and Ranjan are proud supporters of hiring co-op students. Both were nominated for this award by multiple students.

Recipient of the Cooperative Education Student Achievement Award, Kevin completed his co-op as part of the Bachelor of Building Science (Honours) (Co-op) program in the Spring/Summer 2019 term.

Recipient of the Cooperative Education Student Achievement Award, Felipe completed his co-op as part of the Computer Programmer program with Airshare in the Spring/Summer and Fall 2019 terms.

Recipient of the Outstanding Contribution to Algonquin College Co-op Award, Raija was nominated by Computer Programmer co-op student, Hanish Kanda, who now currently works at Ribbon full-time.

Recipient of the Cooperative Education Student Achievement Award, Anastasia completed two co-op work terms with the Ottawa Police Service in Fall 2019 and Winter 2020 as part of the GIS program.
