VMock is an exciting new tool that will help you improve your resume and interview skills. This tool provides real time feedback using Artificial Intelligence, allowing students 24/7 access to personalized services.
VMock leverages data-science, machine learning, and natural language processing to provide instant personalized feedback on your resume based on global best practices.

Join the Co-op & Career Centre for a Faculty Information Sessions to gain a better understanding of the services and resources now available to faculty through our centre. This will include an overview of our new tool Vmock, which can be used to facilitate resume or interview skill assignments.

HireAC is a user-friendly and exclusive online job board designed to make it easier for Algonquin College students and graduates to find jobs.

Internal Opportunities
At Algonquin College, students can study and work part-time through on-campus opportunities known as CSEP (College Student Employment Program). Algonquin College disburses a portion of its TFSA (Tuition Fee Set Aside) funds under the College Student Employment Program (CSEP).
If you are looking to hire a student on campus and have access to a CSEP budget, we would encourage you to post your jobs on HireAC. This will allow students the opportunity to view on-campus jobs more readily. This can be done in a few easy steps:
- Create an ‘employer’ Account on HireAC
- Indicate Algonquin College as the ‘Organization’ on the account registration form
- Indicate your Department name as the ‘Division’ on the account registration form
- Once you receive an email approval, you can post a job!

If you get any requests from employers to assist with their hiring needs, please refer them to coop@algonquincollege.com.

- Check out Vmock, an AI tool that will help improve a resume and/or interview skills.

- Make an appointment with an Career Advisor via HireAC.
- Attend resume or cover letter drop-in hours, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Check out job search resources on our website.
What other services do you offer?
We offer labour market information that includes current and recent job postings detailing what skills and knowledge employers are seeking. We can also provide reports on employers who have posted positions targeting students and graduates in specific programs.
