Click on “Post a Job”

Once you are on the HireAC platform, look for the “Post a Job” button. This button will be prominently displayed on the homepage. Click on it to proceed.

Navigate to the Career Opportunities Section

After clicking on “Post a Job,” you will be redirected to a new page. Look for the “Post Here” option under the Career Opportunities section. Click on it to continue.

Select the Posting Term

You will need to choose the appropriate posting term for your job opportunity. This could include terms such as Fall, Winter, Summer, or Year-Round. Select the term that aligns with your job posting.

Choose the Position Type Category

Now, you will be asked to select the position type category. . Choose the category that best suits your job opportunity.

Select the Employment Category

Next, select the employment category by choosing a program from the dropdown menu. This step helps to target your job posting to specific programs offered at Algonquin College.

Set the Application Deadline

Provide the application deadline for your job posting. This will give interested candidates a clear understanding of when they need to submit their applications by.

Submit the Posting for Approval

Once you have filled in all the required fields, it is time to submit your job posting for approval. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours for the posting to be approved. You will receive an automated email confirmation from the department once your posting is approved.

After the closing of your posting, you will have the opportunity to arrange and conduct interviews with applicants. If your position remains unfilled, you have the option to repost your opportunity.
