Students interested in applying for Co-op in their program of study must complete the co-op application form on ACSIS. Applications will be accepted at the beginning of the semester preceding that program’s first scheduled work term. This is a “one time only opportunity” to be considered for Cooperative Education. Students who neglect to submit an application by the established deadline will not be considered. Application Forms are available on the ACSIS website and will appear for one week only during the first week of classes.

If you are not placed in the time to complete a work term then you may choose to drop out of the co-op option and return to the regular stream program. The mandatory co-op programs with more than one work term may offer some flexibility. You will need to discuss your options with your Academic Co-op Coordinator.

The more flexible a student is with regard to work location and type, and the more positions she/he applies for, the more interviews she/he will likely to get.
