Is this an instructional space or activity?

• If Yes: Start by completing the Instructional Area Safety Checklist (Baseline).

Next: Review the following specific categories. If any apply, use the additional checklist(s) mentioned. If none apply, your baseline checklist is complete.

Step 2: Specific Activity Checklists

If your activity involves any of the following, please use the corresponding checklist:

• Are vehicles, lifts, engines, body repair, or fuel systems used? Use Autobody & Mechanical Shop Checklist
• Are woodworking machines or hand tools used? Use Carpentry/Wood Shop Checklist
• Is welding, cutting, brazing, or hot work performed? Use Welding & Fabrication Checklist
• Is electrical work, energized testing, or technical equipment? Use Electrical & Technical Shop Checklist
• Are there healthcare or clinical practices taking place? Use Healthcare/Clinical Lab Checklist
• Do activities involve animals and/or animal care? Use Veterinary & Animal Care Lab Checklist
