What does wait listed mean?
When all available places in a program are filled, qualified applicants are placed on a waiting list. As seats become available, applicants on the waiting list are notified by email or by telephone and are given a specified time to reply.
If you are placed on a waiting list, ensure that the College has current contact information. It is important that you respond as quickly as possible, as the offer is time-sensitive.
Waitlisted applicants are encouraged to complete all outstanding admission requirements so that if a space becomes available, the applicants will be ready to accept the Offer.
If an applicant has applied to more than one program, has been placed on the waiting list and accepted a place in another program, the applicant remains on the waiting list.
Applicants who have been placed on a waiting list can contact the Registrar’s Office at 613-727-0002 or 1-800-565-4723 to obtain their position on the waiting list based on a range of 20. Applicants should be aware that these positions may change as other applicants decline or accept Offers of Admission.
Waiting lists are maintained until the start of classes.
Waitlisted applicants who would like to be considered for the same program at a later start date, must re-apply to the program through
ontariocolleges.ca, must comply with the application deadline, and has to repeat all program entrance screening procedures. Waitlisted applicants are not given preferential selection or entry to a subsequent program intake.
