ACElinks

Academic Upgrading also brings the Grade 12 equivalency program to the community. Located in downtown Ottawa at the John Howard Society, ACElinks provides an educational opportunity to people who are not ready for a large campus experience. ACElinks helps students who want to pursue postsecondary studies, apprenticeship, or employment. Courses are offered in a small, supported classroom environment and include Communication, Computer Skills, Success Strategies, and Math. The ACElinks Transition Coach and Algonquin College teachers prepare students to transition to the College campus for further education or to employment.

This Employment Ontario program is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario through the Canada-Ontario Job Fund Agreement.

Congratulations are extended to the recent ACElinks graduates who received ACE certicates at the Achievement Awards ceremony. Read more about their future plans below.
