| Parking - Avoid Parking Tickets |
![]() |
You must have a valid parking permit to park at any Algonquin College campus. Please ensure you have the appropriate parking permit for that lot. Never park in a reserved space unless you have a valid permit for that area, or have been assigned that space by the Parking Office. Never park in a space reserved for the handicapped, unless displaying the proper Provincial Handicapped Permit, and an Algonquin Handicapped Reserved Space Permit if the space was assigned to you. If using Parking Meters, ensure that there is ample time showing on the meter. Pay and display paper chits must be on the driver’s side dash face up and clearly visible at all times. Upon entering any parking area please read the posted signs at the entrance. Visitors to Algonquin College may park in the Visitor Lot or at any of the meters, excluding handicapped, in which case you will be required to display the proper Provincial Handicapped Permit, along with an Algonquin Handicapped Permit if you are not parking at a meter. Please obtain and read the Parking and Traffic regulations for your campus. This information will assist you and help you avoid getting parking tickets. If you lend your vehicle to someone, make sure they know where to park. You are responsible for all tickets issued to your vehicle. Bicycles must be secured to and parked in the bicycle racks only.
