Wow where did summer and fall go. Lots to update and I never did tell you about those summer projects, so here goes:
Summer Projects: We worked with Privacy Analytics to help virtualize testing and certification for the emerging field of data anonymization which is critical for sharing large clinical data sets . We brought together diverse expertise to help build a STEMI (ST Segment Myocardial infarction) recognition game for planetECG.
Algonquin College’s Office of Applied Research and Innovation will host Applied Research Day 12.2 on December 2nd 2014. The event highlights the leading edge applied research being done as the College showcases its internationally recognized research projects. Applied Research Day is a must for employers looking for talented, future employees and collaborators to support their businesses’ growth in the 21st Century economy.

Big Win, Winners all around: Back in April our afterschool program (#FlashForward) with The Ottawa Hospital had a big win taking 1st Place at the College’s Applied Research Day (April 11, 2014).
