| About the LRC - Perth Campus |
<< back to About Us The Learning Resource Centre at the Perth campus serves the students, faculty and staff of the Perth campus of Algonquin College, in addition to members of the local community. The collection of books, periodicals and audio-visual materials of the Perth Campus Resource Centre supports the curriculum of the programs offered at this campus with a special emphasis on architecture, building construction, woodworking and masonry. The Resource Centre also provides access to resources in the international restoration community for the Centre for Canadian Heritage Trades and Technology, which is based at the Perth Campus. A special feature of the Perth Campus Resource Centre is the Lanark County History Collection, a collection of materials pertaining to the people and history of Lanark County. This collection includes material such as census, land, parish and newspaper records as well as family, town and parish histories. The Lanark County History Collection is used extensively by members of the local community as well as by people from across North America who are researching their family and/or property histories.
