The National Capital Sm@rtLibrary lending partners include University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Ottawa Public Library, and Dominican College University. To borrow from any of these libraries please obtain a SmartLibrary membership card at the Algonquin College Learning Resource Centre main desk.  Any materials borrowed from these libraries should be returned directly to the lending library on the indicated due date.

Canadian Conservation Institute (CCI)
A "Letter of Introduction" from our library will enable students to borrow up to 5 documents per academic year free of charge from the CCI Library. Items borrowed may be returned to the algonquin LRC or to the CCI directly.

Canadian Institute of Scientific and Technical Information (CISTI)
A "Letter of Introduction" from our library will enable students to borrow
directly from the CISTI library. Students are limited to borrowing 3 items
per semester. Material borrowed directly from CISTI should be returned
directly to CISTI.

Canadian Mortgage and Housing (CMHC)
If you are in Ottawa and aren't sure what specific books you want to borrow, you can pick up some ILL forms from the Algonquin Learning Resource Centre and bring them with you to CMHC.
