Lynne Clark was the first and only female graduate of the Metallurgical Engineering Technologist diploma program at Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology.  Since that time, she has become a highly experienced sales and marketing specialist with the Ottawa Citizen newspaper, currently serving as the Director of Marketing.

Lynne was finalist in the 2007 Women’s Business Network “Business Woman of the Year” award and has also received numerous other awards for her service in the newspaper industry.    She has had ongoing involvement with Algonquin College including teaching in the Advertising Program from 2001 to 2005, and continues to serve as a guest lecturer as well as liaising with the School of Media and Design for the James Hillock Award.

Lynne is a member of several community organizations including the United Way/Centraide Ottawa, Bruyere Continuing Care Foundation, Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, and the Ottawa Citizen Literacy Foundation, among others.
