Michael Dunlop recently served on the Senior Leadership Team of UTi Wordwide a publicly traded Global Logistics Company.  In this role he provided advice and support on various strategy and leadership fronts to the Board Chair.  Previously he was President & CEO of Unigistix Inc. which was sold to UTi .  With more than 25 years of management experience, Michael has achieved significant success in growing both established and start-up companies.  Prior to joining Unigistix, Michael enjoyed an extensive career in telecommunications throughout Canada, the United States and England in a number of roles spanning sales, marketing, operations and business development.  Michael received his Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University (Ottawa) in 1972.  He received his Professional Logistician (P.Log) accreditation in 2003.  He is extensively involved on a personal level with various Canadian charities.  Michael was the founding Chairperson of the Board of Governors of Canada’s Telecommunications Hall of Fame Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors for Christie Lake Kids. He manages his own investment firm:  MGD Capital Corporation.

Michael was re-appointed to the Board of Governors for an additional two-year term beginning in September, 2011.  He was elected to the position of Board Chair in September, 2010, and was re-elected to the position for the 2011-12 academic year.  He also serves on the Audit and Governance Committees of the Board.
