This course is part of the following part-time on campus and/or online program(s):

Students construct a project requiring hand-made woodwork joints. Each step in the layout and cutting procedure is demonstrated and students are provided with individual supervision as they practise. A theory lesson precedes the practical component for students to develop a solid foundation in wood technology, hand tools and maintenance, joinery, glues, adhesives and clamping procedures. Each student completes an individual project.
