Accelerate your readiness to lead from the middle. Bring your authentic leadership to your role every day to build high-performing teams that operate in an atmosphere of trust and integrity. If you are looking to lead with passion, to maximize your team’s strengths and to effectively motivate others to accomplish goals, you will want to know more about Algonquin College’s Transformational Leadership certificate program.

Join us to learn about the program and experience a “learning nugget” from Leading Authentically, on the theme of  the “Inquiring Leader.”

Date: Monday, November 5, 2018

Time: 8:30 to 11:15 a.m.

Location: Algonquin College Corporate Training Centre, 340 Albert Street, 11th Floor, Constitution Square, Ottawa

The Transformational Leadership program enables mid-level leaders to transform their leadership abilities and behaviours to meet the needs of today’s workforce and the strategic goals of their organizations.

Learn how the practice of inquiry helps you to make intentional, conscious choices. Discover how your moment-to-moment interactions affect the way you think, feel, behave and speak.

Also, learn how questioning tools are used to set and reset yourself in a Learner Mindset.

Presenter Irene Wright, President of WrightVista, is the lead architect of the Transformational Leadership program. Join Irene for a high-impact learning experience that will engage you from beginning to end.

You’ll also hear from a recent graduate about what he learned and how he changed as a leader during his six-month leadership journey.

Areas of greatest impact identified by graduates of the program included coaching, strengths-based leadership, being an inquiring leader, communication, strategic thinking and execution, and leading change, among others.

“[It] has exposed me to a variety of concepts, models, theories and practices that have helped me improve my individual performance as well as my team’s overall performance.”

“Overall the program was first rate…assignments were practical and really aided the learning.”
