French as a Second Language
It is essential to learn how to read, speak and comprehend the French language in order to succeed in a bilingual workplace.
There are six levels of proficiency in Algonquin College French as a Second Language program. Each level complements the other and builds upon previously introduced concepts and vocabulary. A placement test determines the level of proficiency where you begin. Click here to go to the French Placement Test page.
We're working on a new course calendar for our in-class and online sessions.
That includes exploring new courses and finding alternative ways to deliver training to you and your teams. In the meantime, while registration is temporarily closed, information about our existing courses will remain on our site to help you research and plan your learning path with us.
