Accommodations and Supports

The CAL provides a variety of accommodations and services to students who have registered. Follow the links below to find out how we can support you.

• The CAL Team – The CAL follows a team approach that involves you, your instructors, your Disabilities Counsellor, and others.
• Letter of Accommodation (LOA) – A confidential document describing the academic accommodations to which you are entitled.
• Learning Strategy Support – Personalized sessions to help you become an effective learner and achieve your academic goals.
• Assistive Technology – Needs assessments, training, access to a fully equipped Assistive Technology (AT) Lab, and Accessible Print-Based Services.
• Support for Students with Autism – Transition Support Centre
• Residence Attendant Services – Non-medical assistance with everyday tasks, 24 hours per day, eight months of the year.
• Support for Apprentices – Apprenticeship Success Centre
