Retiree Dental

Effective February 1, 2015, a new dental plan will be created which is currently a plan of EHC 2. The new Dental Plan 2 will become a stand-alone plan that covers major restorative dental services only. It provides retirees with more flexibility with regard to dental coverage options. Please see the College Employer Website for Retiree Information, Plans and Premium Rates effective February 1, 2015.

Covered Expenses Reimbursement Retiree Dental Plan 2 Details
Dentures 100% Full or partial dentures including related laboratory fees once every three years including repair, relining, rebasing, adjustments
Endodontics 100% Root canals and root canal therapy
Periodontics 100% Treatment of the gum tissue
Crowns 50% Crowns including repairs and related lab fees
Bridges 50% Bridges including repairs and related lab fees
Inlays & Onlays 50% Inlays and onlays including pins in inlays and onlays
Fees Ontario Dental Association Fee Guide in effect one year prior to date expense was incurred
