Asynchronous/Self-directed Courses:

Introduction to Inclusion & Diversity at Algonquin College: In this micro-course, learners will explore inclusion and diversity at Algonquin College. After defining what those terms mean, this course will set the foundation for their journey into inclusion and diversity by outlining why inclusion and diversity are crucial to Algonquin College’s success and how this can empower College employees.

Bridging Cultural Differences in Diverse Teams: This is a self-paced, micro-learning course. This series of training videos chronicle workplace integration from the perspectives of employers, immigrant professionals, and established Canadians. Through their stories, learn how they work out the challenges related to integrating immigrant professionals into the workplace.

Inclusion Infusions Live: This is a repository of recordings and resources from all of the Inclusion Infusions Live events. Inclusion Infusions Live events aim to spark your curiosity about others, challenge your thinking about inclusion and diversity, and inspire you to reflect on your own values and behaviours.

Pride at Work 2SLGBTQ+ Inclusion Resources: This course is a repository of all the resources and webinars hosted by Pride at Work Canada. As members of this association, Algonquin College employees are welcome to access this content to learn more about 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion.

Synchronous/”In-person” Courses:

This 4 hour workshop is offered monthly – go to the employee learning catalogue to register for the date and time that works for you.
