Course (re)Design Series
The Course (re)Design Series guides faculty participants through the process of developing or revising a course that is reflective, engaging, and learner-centred. Through this series, participants reflect on course design, develop engaging learning activities, create authentic assessments, and explore high-quality feedback for learners. Participants expand on their teaching practice and share ideas, challenges, and strategies in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Course (re)Design Series is delivered synchronously online in two-hour sessions over six weeks (12 hours total). Full-time faculty should be allocated Standard Workload Formula (SWF) hours with a constraint. A timetable constraint is automatically applied by the Registrar’s Office. Other-than-full-time faculty (OTFT) may be paid the hourly meeting rate ($25/hr) by Learning and Teaching Services for their participation and completion of the series.
