Textbook Ordering Process
Term Booklists are now available. Your Booklist is your custom list of textbooks needed for your courses. You can order your course materials from The Campus Store online. Information on shipping and pick-up options can be found here.
For Pembroke Students – All Textbooks must be purchased online – The Pembroke Campus AC Proud Shop does/will not have any physical textbooks available for sale on campus
We encourage you to buy your books early!
Steps to get your course materials
- Access your Booklist with your network username and password to see the required and recommended resources for your courses. You can order your books online directly from your Booklist. If available, you will see the choice of format (print book, digital or used) at the time of purchase.
- Select the desired format for each book and add to cart. Please note that if this is your first time placing an order on The Campus Store website, you will need to create an account. This account for The Campus Store is not connected to your network credentials so you will need to set up your preferred email and password.
- When checking out, you can select your preferred shipping or pick-up method.
Note: If you have chosen a digital format for any of your course materials, please follow the steps outlined at this link to retrieve your digital resource(s).
Pembroke Campus Pick-Up
If you select “PEMBROKE Click & Collect” for your shipping/pick-up method, you will contacted once your books have arrived on campus.
Friendly reminder that if you select the “Pembroke Click and Collect” as a delivery method, you will not pay any shipping costs.
BScN/Apprenticeship/No Booklist Available
If you are in a position where you cannot get access to your personalized Booklist or if you are a BScN or Apprenticeship student, you can use the manual search function as a workaround to get your textbooks.
Select “Books”, “Search by Course” and then select “Pembroke Campus”, “2024W – Winter 2024 Term (Jan – Apr)” and “View courses for all programs”. Select all your respective courses individually and you’ll be all set.
Under this “Textbook Search” function, select “Pembroke Campus”, “2024W – Winter 2024 Term (Jan – Apr)” and expand “View courses for all programs”.
Note: For BScN students, you might have to select Ottawa campus in order to find some of your NSG courses.
More Information
All textbooks textbooks have to be purchased online through the Algonquin College Connections Campus Store in Ottawa. Once a student orders their books online, they can ask to have them sent to their home address or they can pick the books up at the Ottawa Connections Campus Store or at the Pembroke Campus AC Proud Shop with the “Click and Collect” option. In addition to the few days required to process your order, allow a few more days for shipping after placing your order. Please note that it is not faster to have your books delivered at the Pembroke Campus in comparison to have them ship at home but we still want to offer this service for your convenience. We encourage you to buy your books early!
The Pembroke AC Proud Shop has a vast selection of Algonquin College clothing and gift items and a variety of other program supplies such as USBs, notebooks, pens, lab coats, stethoscopes, computer accessories, to name a few.
The AC Proud Shop is open on a part-time basis and lists its hours of operation on a sign by the bookstore door and on its voicemail message.
