FAM1233 & FAM1234 – Seminar & Practice Teaching I (ECE program)

FAM1233 and FAM1234 are offered as a “block” PLAR, meaning you can receive credit for both courses through one assessment (and one $90.70 fee!)

Complete a Self-Assessment and Employer Verification Form to determine whether you feel you are a good candidate to challenge this course. (Note: this form is customized to FAM1233/1234 PLARs.)
Apply for PLAR. Please apply twice: once for FAM1233, and once for FAM1234; however, you can attach the same self-assessment document to both applications. The PLAR Office will contact you via email with next steps and PLAR assessment details.

GED2012 – Achieving Success in the 21st Century

All General Education Elective courses at Algonquin College fall under one of the following 5 themes:

When you challenge a General Education Elective through PLAR, you challenge one of these themes rather than an individual course. To start your application, follow the steps below:
