Algonquin Residents’ Council

By choosing to get involved with the Residents’ Council, you will be provided with a unique student leadership opportunity that will allow you to connect with other students living in Algonquin College Residence.

The mission of Algonquin Residents’ Council is to act as an advocacy group that represents the student population to improve the quality of the residence experience. Working in partnership with the Residence Life Management Team (RLMT) you will be a voice for your peers, representing their interests and needs through hosting Town Hall meetings, planning events, and facilitating student initiatives within the residence community.

You’ll also have the opportunity to develop great employability skills, such as:

  • Advocacy

And, any time you spend working on Residents’ Council will count as volunteering hours on your Algonquin College Co-Curricular Record.
