Mobility-Print Instructions

On this page, you will learn how to setup the Mobility-Print application and print directly to the campus printers from your phone or laptop. Before printing, be sure to check your available print balance and add AC Cash if needed.

When you print your document from your device the document is held in the Mobility-Print queue until you tap to release it on a printer. If you choose, you can log into your PaperCut account to see or cancel your print jobs in the print queue.

iOS

If you have iOS version 17 on your mobile device, please make sure you are updated to version 17.2 or above to use Mobility Print.

For users with earlier versions of iOS experiencing difficulty using Mobility Print, first be sure that you are logged into the College AC Secure WIFI. If printing is still not possible please follow these instructions.

  1. Choose Share or Print option from your document.
  2. Choose ‘Print’, then choose ‘Air Print’.
  3. Choose Printer ‘Mobility-Print’.
  4. Log in using your College network credentials. You will only have to log in the first time you print.
  5. Choose ‘Options’ to set your desired print options.
  6. Choose ‘Print’. Your print job will go into the printer queue.
  7. After sending your job to the Mobility Print printer, log into any FindMe printer by tapping your AC Card.
  8. Choose ‘Print Release’, then choose the job you wish to release or edit by choosing the ‘Right Arrow’.
  9. Confirm or edit the number of copies or colour mode prior to printing.
  10. Choose ‘Print’ to release your job to print.

Android (v8 and above)

Learn how to connect to the AC Secure wireless network on an Android device.

  1. Install the app ‘PaperCut Mobility Print’ from the Google Play Store.
  2. Review Print Services & Notification settings in ‘PaperCut Mobility Print’ app.
  3. Choose Share/Print option from your document. *Printing from Outlook app is not supported by Microsoft at this time.
  4. Choose ‘Mobility-Print’ as your printer.
  5. Choose your desired ‘Print Options’. When ready, choose ‘Print’.
  6. Log in using your College network credentials. You will only have to log in the first time you print.
  7. After sending your job to the Mobility Print printer, log into any FindMe printer by tapping your AC Card.
  8. Choose ‘Print Release’, then choose the job you wish to release or edit by choosing the ‘Right Arrow’.
  9. Confirm or edit the number of copies or colour mode prior to printing.
  10. Choose ‘Print’ to release your job to print.

Windows (Windows 10 and above)

  1. Download the Mobility Print Windows app
  2. Run the Mobility Print installer.
  3. Click ‘Okay’ to begin installation. Choose “I accept the agreement” then click Next.
  4. Choose ‘Mobility-Print’ and click Next.
  5. Log into Paper Cut using your College network credentials and click Next. You will only have to log in the first time you print.
  6. Choose ‘Finish Install’ to complete the installation.
  7. Choose ‘File’ then ‘Print’ from your document.
  8. Choose ‘Mobility Print’ as your printer.
  9. Set your desired print options.
  10. Choose ‘Print’. Your print job will go into the printer queue.
  11. After sending your job to the Mobility Print printer, log into any FindMe printer by tapping your AC Card.
  12. Choose ‘Print Release’, then choose the job you wish to release or edit by choosing the ‘Right Arrow’.
  13. Confirm or edit the number of copies or colour mode prior to printing.
  14. Choose ‘Print’ to release your job to print.

Mac OS

Please note that there are known issues with Mobility Print and macOS Sonoma at this time.
Visit us at the Print Shop, located within Connections: The Campus Store, if you need assistance adding Mobility Print to your macOS Sonoma device.

  1. Go to ‘System Preferences.’
  2. Choose ‘Printers and Scanners.’
  3. Choose plus button (+).
  4. Choose ‘Mobility-Print’
  5. Choose ‘Add.’
  6. Choose ‘File/Print’ from your document.
  7. Choose ‘Mobility Print’ as your printer.
  8. Set your desired print options.
  9. Choose ‘Print’.
  10. Log in using your College network credentials. You will only have to log in the first time you print.
  11. After sending your job to the Mobility Print printer, log into any FindMe printer by tapping your AC Card.
  12. Choose ‘Print Release’, then choose the job you wish to release or edit by choosing the ‘Right Arrow’.

  14. Choose ‘Print’ to release your job to print.

How to set your colour and single- and double-sided preferences for Mobility Print Windows users

  1. Choose the ‘Start’ menu.
  2. Choose ‘Control Panel’.
  3. Choose ‘Devices and Printers’.
  4. Right-click on ‘Mobility-Print.
  5. Choose ‘Printing preferences’.
  6. Under the ‘Print on Both Sides’ drop-down menu choose either ‘Flip on Long Edge’ or ‘Flip on Short Edge’ to print your document double-sided. Leave as ‘None’ to print single-sided.
  7. Choose ‘Paper/Quality’.
  8. Choose the ‘Black & White’ option to print in grayscale. Leave the ‘Color’ option selected to print in colour.
  9. Choose ‘Apply’ then ‘OK’. These settings will be remembered the next time you print to the ‘Mobility-Print’ printer.

How to select one-time colour and single/double-sided options for Mobility Print Windows users

  1. Choose ‘File’ then ‘Print’ from your application.
  2. Ensure the printer selected is ‘Mobility-Print’.
  3. Choose ‘Printer properties’
  4. Under the ‘Print on Both Sides’ drop-down menu choose either ‘Flip on Long Edge’ or ‘Flip on Short Edge’ to print your document double-sided. Leave as ‘None’ to print single-sided.
  5. Choose ‘Paper/Quality’.
  6. Choose the ‘Black & White’ option to print in grayscale. Leave the ‘Color’ option selected to print in colour.
  7. Choose ‘OK’
  8. Choose ‘Print’.
