This culminating course prepares students to write the two official A+ certification exams through the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). Building on skills learned earlier in the program, students practise their problem-solving skills in hands-on labs to develop the core competencies for this key IT industry certification. The A+ certification is an entry-level requirement for many employers. Topics include installing, maintaining and troubleshooting PC and mobile device hardware and peripherals, networking and connectivity issues, as well as operational procedures for installing, configuring and supporting a variety of operating systems.


Students must supply their own PC technician kit (wrist strap, volt metre, screwdrivers etc…).
