A+ Preparation

Course: CST6468

This culminating course prepares students to write the two official A+ certification exams through the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). Building on skills learned earlier in the program, students practise their problem-solving skills in lab activities to develop the core competencies for the A+ certification which is an entry-level requirement for many employers. Topics include installing, maintaining and troubleshooting PC and mobile device hardware and peripherals, networking and connectivity issues, as well as operational procedures for installing, configuring and supporting a variety of operating systems.

Notes

Students must supply their own PC technician kit (wrist strap, volt metre, screwdrivers etc…).

There is no class scheduled Monday, February 17, 2020 (Family Day).
