Academic Reading, Writing and Research

Course: HLT0221

Students are introduced to reading strategies for high volume of college level academic texts to improve comprehension. They create text with the appropriate rhetorical focus for a variety of academic tasks related to health care. An understanding of what constitutes plagiarism and inappropriate sharing is developed, and the use of services and resources of the Learning Resource Centre is explained.
