Air Handlers, Conversion Burners & Building Systems

Forming the foundation for the gas technician is the ability to remove oil burner systems and replace with gas conversion burner systems. Students identify and describe different conversion burners, air handling equipment, controls and discuss the concepts of combustion efficiency. In the practical component, students observe an oil-to-gas conversion, and how to wire and troubleshoot conversion burners/controls.
