Basic Controls for Gas Technicians

Knowledge of and the use of basic controls for gas-fired equipment is essential for heating/cooling control, safety and energy efficiency. Students develop troubleshooting capabilities while gaining the understanding of the control systems critical to gas-fired equipment. In the practical component, students demonstrate how to troubleshoot, identify, replace, alter and/or install all controls that form part of gas-fired equipment. Note: A valid Gas Tech 3 certificate is required prior to registering for this course.

Summer 2016: There are two Saturday classes on May 28th and June 11th from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
