Students acquire a fundamental understanding of data communications, networking concepts and LAN/WAN communications. Topics include the OSI model, basic network design and configuration, bridging, routing and switching concepts, network protocols, IP subnet design and Ethernet. Students also gain practical experience with network cabling, analysis and troubleshooting. Course material from Cisco Academy Program CCNA Network Fundamentals is included.
