Critical Care Respiratory Management

Nurses expand their knowledge and skills working with a high acuity patient with an actual or potential respiratory compromise. Nurses explore the pathophysiology of certain respiratory disorders. Comprehensive diagnostic and management options, such as arterial blood gas analysis, airway management, mechanical ventilation, and chest tubes are reviewed and practised during simulation experiences.


This is a hybrid course (a combination of on campus and online).
