Generational Diversity and Conflict

Generational diversity is increasingly a human resource challenge in the workplace. Students examine the factors that can contribute to conflict in diverse work teams. The concept of generational diversity and its characteristics are explored. Students examine how these differences impact communication in such key areas as feedback, mentoring, performance and employee retention. Through case studies, critical incidents based on workplace situations, and online discussions, students create, share and apply strategies for working with generational cohorts in conflict.
