Install and Configure a Computer System

This course is part of the following part-time on campus and/or online program(s):

Students install, configure and customize Windows operating systems. After learning the unique features and functions of operating systems including organizing and managing files and folders in the directory structure, understanding and running commands, and start-up options, students learn how to troubleshoot operating system configuration and tuning issues, as well as how to resolve different peripheral and printer problems. They also learn how to partition and format a hard disk into separate storage and boot areas, and how to add and remove hardware components and software programs.


Students must bring a minimum 8GB USB memory stick.
