Introduction to Investigation
Course: INV3014
All investigators must have a foundational knowledge of the laws and legislation pertaining to investigations. Students explore criminal and civil laws and procedures they are likely to encounter in their careers as investigators. Students also learn how to compose a comprehensive investigative report. Through various activities, students examine the Private Security and Investigative Services Act along with various provincial acts concerning private investigators.
Notes
Graduates of the Police Foundations program from Algonquin College are exempted from this course.
