Professional Learning Skills for Healthcare

Course: HLT0224

Being a member of a healthcare team requires professional conduct and a commitment to professional practice. Students learn what makes an individual a professional and how professionals conduct themselves. Key concepts that underpin all areas of healthcare are explored including autonomy, self-reflection and ethics. Student develop their teamwork and conflict resolution skills. Through group work, presentations, case studies and role-playing students examine what it takes to maintain professionalism in healthcare.
