Personal and Professional Learning Skills

Course: HLT0224

Students are introduced to the methods and effectiveness of time management and study skills, as well as the numeracy demands of their respective programs of study. Oral academic skills required to participate and succeed in their studies, along with occupation-specific communication needed for their jobs in health care are practised and explored. Students become aware of individual accent and pronunciation challenges and develop an individualized plan for remediation.
