Students complete a research project which in consultation with the course facilitator focuses on a selected topic in emergency management. This provides students the opportunity to conduct an independent research project which is original, sustainable and creative. Topics of interest need approval from the course facilitator. The project demonstrates the students' knowledge of theory and the ability to apply it in the field.
