Programming for Diverse Populations

Increasingly, people from all age groups, fitness levels and health statuses are seeking advice on ways to improve their fitness and health. This requires fitness and wellness leaders to have a good understanding of various populations and their specific requirements. Students research and develop appropriate fitness and lifestyle programs for various diverse populations. Youth, older adults, pregnant women, individuals with respiratory disorders, athletes, individuals with mobility problems and other groups are discussed.
