Defining and managing a project scope ensures that the project includes all the required work. Students learn practical skills and knowledge related to project definition and planning, creation of a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), resource allocation, development of the project budget and close-out management techniques. Through group exercises and case study analysis, students acquire project management planning skills and concepts.

Notes

Sections 841, 842, 843, and 844 require you to register in the month prior to the course start date. Registration for these courses closes end of day on the last business day of the month before the course starts.
Each course equals either 45 hours of Project Management education hours towards a PMI® certification or if you have your PMP®, 45 PDUs.
