Critical care nurses must have knowledge of current research. Using research, evidence-based practice and best practice guidelines, nurses explore the impact of high acuity illness on a client and family. They learn the necessity of advocacy, education and communication in delivering care and supporting families in decision-making related to death and dying.

This is a hybrid course (a combination of on campus and online).

This course is fully online with one face to face class from 8am-2pm.
