The vast array of online educational applications, resources, systems and tools can make the sourcing and selecting of online educational technologies a challenge. Through collaborative case studies and assignments, learners analyze the end-users' educational needs, available hardware and preferred pedagogy. Educational technology innovations are sourced and reviewed. Learners make and rationalize recommendations that meet end-users' needs. The course culminates in an independent project, which is informed by current case studies, pragmatic analysis and interviews with educational technology suppliers and users, thus enabling learners to consolidate their learning.
