Common evidence-based behavioural approaches are applied when teaching individuals with autism new skills. Students explore strategies for teaching language, academic,daily living, play and social skills. Topics provide the student with an understanding of the terms used, a description of the teaching techniques and a basic understanding of the conceptual elements motivating the approaches.
