The foundation for statistical analysis for further studies in the program is provided. Students learn to collect and organize statistical data and to present data in various charts. Students also learn to calculate measures of location and variation, normal curve and basic probability concepts, expected values, construction of indices, consumer and wholesale price index, purchasing power, deflating, time series analysis and basic sampling methods.
