Venting Practices for Appliances

Venting practices for all gas-fired equipment are crucial for the safe removal of the flue products (products of combustion). Students learn about heat transfer and combustion efficiency. Students develop and design a venting system in accordance with the venting requirements. In the practical component, students identify, replace, alter and install a number of different venting materials as they pertain to vented appliances. Note: A valid Gas Tech 3 certificate is required prior to registering for this course.
Winter 2016: There are two Saturday classes on March 19th and April 9th from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
