Students complete a minimum of two 500-hour paid work terms during two of the three summer periods while in the program. The School of Hospitality and Tourism provides a co-op seminar in level 2 of the program to help students prepare for their first co-op experience.

Does the program offer help in finding co-op placements?
We have a Co-op Officer who provides full support and resources in helping students find co-op positions. That being said, the responsibility of finding a co-op placement lies with the student. Students need to be proactive and willing to travel outside Ottawa to work at co-op placements.
