gradATTENTION PEMBROKE CAMPUS GRADUATES - If you have graduated from your program as of May 2008, your formal Convocation Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 31st at the Pembroke Memorial Centre in Pembroke.  Details can be found here.

kayakOUTDOOR ADVENTURE PROGRAM READINESS CAMP takes place May 18 and 19. 
Eligible applicants been invited to attend an upcoming session.  There is also a special Parents' Program for those coming from out-of-town.  Package includes meals, tours, accommodations, presentations, and an opportunity to meet staff from Wilderness Tours and Algonquin College in the Ottawa Valley. Find out more here.   Also check out the Outdoor Adventure website for additional program information.  For directions to Wilderness Tours, look at the directions on their web site.

FREE Evening Classes for Mature Students Returning to College. 
If you are returning to college after at least five years away from formal schooling, we can help you prepare.  Starting in August, students registered to attend a full-time program can take computer courses and learn skills that will help with studying, writing tests, and memory work.  For more information contact Shelly Waplington at 613-735-4700, ext. 2803.

headingTHE SUMMER YOUTH CAREER SAMPLER IS BACK!   This July, Algonquin College in Pembroke is holding week-long summer camps to give students ages 11 to 14 a sampling of future careers.  Click here to see full details and the revised schedule.  The samplers include Investigate CSI with Police Foundations; Get Lost in Forestry; Get Hooked on Cooking; Jump Start your Automotive Skills; and Feel the Rush of Outdoor Adventure Training. All samplers combine fun with learning and feature age-appropriate activities.
