Available Now – Faster ways to access Workday information and complete tasks

“Love it!”, “Great feature. Very impressed”, “Easy to use” – the Workday app in Microsoft Teams emerged as a crowd favourite in the recent pilot of Workday AI-enabled features. As part of the Empowering Algonquin with AI initiative, this app, along with the two other features included in the pilot, Enhanced Search and Workday Assistant (chatbot), is now available to all employees.
Take a moment to explore these features as they may save you time, either in your own interactions with Workday or if you need to explain how to access Workday information and tasks to others. Find out what these features offer, where to find them and how to use them in this one-page guide.
Thank you to the pilot group, which included occasional, frequent and daily Workday users, for test driving these features and sharing your thoughts.
How do I find out more?
The Getting Started in Workday user guide has been updated with detailed information about Enhanced Search and the Workday Assistant.
A new webpage, under the Using Workday menu provides step by step instructions for setting up the Workday app in Microsoft Teams, desktop and mobile.
Additional Workday user guides and course materials will be updated in the coming weeks.
