Introduction

The Academic Partnerships Department is responsible for the implementation of the School/College/Work initiative which is a cooperative effort of the Council of Ontario Directors of Education (CODE) and the Committee of College Presidents (COP) and is jointly funded by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

We are a member of the PASS Regional Planning Team which serves as a coordinating body for the SCWI initiatives in Eastern Ontario. Our department works closely with our partner school boards: The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario, the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, the Ottawa Catholic School Board, the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board, the Renfrew County School Board, and the Upper Canada District School Board in providing opportunities for faculty, teachers and administrators to work together for student success.

In addition, we collaborate with two community partners, OCRI (Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation) and Vitesse Re-Skilling Canada Inc. and together we provide learning opportunities for educators and students.
