In order to compete in a competitive and changing environment organizations must practice effective total reward strategies. Total rewards include all elements of the compensation system including pay structures, benefits and rewards. Students explore both theoretical and practical applications and strategies to compensation design and management within an organizational framework. Students examine the external and internal environments of an organization, job evaluation, pay structures, benefits programs and changing employment conditions and trends.
